Arvest Foundation Grant to Help Small Businesses in Boone County

Harrison, AR, March 2, 2021. Small businesses in Boone County will receive a boost in the form of increased promotion thanks to a $12,000 grant from the Arvest Foundation to the Harrison Chamber Foundation.

The Harrison Chamber Foundation’s mission is to support, foster, protect and advance the economic and business development mission of the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce. The funds are to be used for technological upgrades to help promote local small businesses and their economic growth.

“Small businesses play such a vital role here in Boone County and throughout the country,” said Scott Tennyson, community bank president for Arvest in Harrison. “We certainly understand that and are so pleased to present this donation on behalf of the Arvest Foundation. We also appreciate the work the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce does to support these businesses and know the grant will provide a boost to those efforts.”

He added, “This donation is just one of many we have made throughout North Central Arkansas and we trust reflects the Arvest Foundation’s ongoing commitment to our region.”
