Ozark Opportunities, Inc.

Ozark Opportunities, Inc., (OOI) was incorporated as a private, non-profit corporation under IRS code 501(c)(3) in 1969. We service Northwest Arkansas counties: Baxter, Boone, Marion, Newton, Searcy, and Van Buren. The mission of OOI is to partner with organizations, families and individuals to provide services and empowerment opportunities for those with limited means to improve their quality of life. Currently, we provide Pre-K services via Head Start & ABC. Our Early Head Start serves ages 6 weeks - 36 months. We provide additional childcare via a voucher program we call "Tadpoles". We work hard to provide a hand-up rather than a hand-out through our Family Development services provided to Head Start/Early Head Start families, the SUCCESS program for families and individuals, and Healthy Families of America - Ozark Mountains for pregnant mothers and infants. We assist county residents with energy burden through LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program). Beginning 2023, a new initiative has begun through clinic partnerships to increase quality of care by providing our wrap-around family services, working to increase health literacy and decrease ER utilization, and partnering to provide vaccinations.
