Where It Began... Lew Thompson always had a fascination with trucking. He started with humble beginnings buying his first truck in 1983, hauling turkeys for Butterball. The first Lew Thompson office was jokingly described as a "phone booth" due to it's small size and limited resources in downtown Huntsville. In the spring of 2018, LT's opened it's expandad office space that more than doubled the square footage of their home office in Huntsville. This office houses the overall company operations from payroll to safety and human resources. The company quickly established a reputation for providing excellent customer service and for getting the job done. Today... His son, Josh Thompson, is now the President of the company, changing the name to Lew Thompson & Son Trucking, Inc. Lew Thompson & Son Trucking, Inc. now has over 195 trucks and 350 trailers.
